Independent and a Bangladesh

A tired and gloomy noon

Then a separated afternoon

A sleepless night, then a morning

Get something new, the victory

And  a Bangladesh.

It’s not picked up

It’s acquired with difficulty

It’s acquired with a lot of sacrifice

Then we got a Bangladesh.

It’s gain with a lot of expectation 

With lot of patience and 

the blood of hundred thousands 

Of martyrs.

There is something

Which cannot be acquired by money

There are some gifts,

Which are unpaidable

Finally we got it

They make us indebted

It’s unreturnable

Then we got Bangladesh.
